Woven World Expressions sustains some of the most beautiful fabric making techniques used for centuries in cultures around the globe. This is a line of fabric-covered Blank Books, Skratch Pads, Planners, Address Books, Sketch Books, Photo Albums and Bookmarks. We are able to price these gorgeous books economically and they offer excellent margins for our retailers.

We are happy to include woven Hemp Fabric as an environmental alternative to soil depleting and pesticide-dependant crops. They can be further enhanced with a decorative stamp in the corner.

Five Fabric Choices:

• Guatemalan Ikat – Vibrant Hand-woven cotton fabric in a variety of colorful designs made by Mayan Indian Weavers from the Highlands of Guatemala. Famed for intense colors and the unique jaspe technique which creates figures and designs by special placement of dyed threads.
• Indonesian Batik – Hand-batiked natural cotton fabric from native villages in Indonesia. These fabrics are colorful with wonderful effects like cracking and soda-ash (which intensifies color) to enhance the contemporary designs paired with the ancient waxing technique.
• African Batik - Hand Batiked natural cotton fabric by traditional artisans in the country of Ghana. We use only their traditional Adinkra symbols. Each of these symbols carries its own meaning which is described on an attractive sticker on the back of the book. View Adinkra symbols and their meanings.
• Thailand Hill Tribe Cross Stitching - Labor intensive counted cross-stitch weaving in traditional Hill Tribe motifs is the hallmark of this unique fabric. It is all on black fabric which offers a stunning contrast for these beautiful works of art.
• Natural Woven Hemp – Unbleached hemp fiber woven to give a natural, rough appearance. Our hemp items may be stamped with a choice of pre-made stamps or a custom stamp.
